Kickstart to the house project after too long ! [June 2009]
I decided that I would like a doll house in a more modern style to many of the ones commercially available and after tracking down the maker of my dream dolls house I decided to make my own as the money to buy it is in the same dream! LOL :) I have never made a dolls house before and went to the local hardware shop for some materials and the rest is history (still in the making) but that is another story that will at some point come to light under my "Other Projects" link.
My husband took pity on me and gave me a surprise for my birthday that I would never forget - he also bought me my first doll house kit - Mackintosh house from the Dolls House Emporium (DHE).
As you may notice the Drawing room / Entrance Hall seems to have appeared as if by magic I assure you this was not the case. The simple explanation is that my camera was left on the shelf along with my website that would have prompted me to get snapping had it existed! Not to worry though as there are still lots of things still to do and now the website is up and running I will remember to post along the way!
